About Me.
King comes from a line of well known working border collies in South Africa and I still feel very honoured at being allowed to call him mine. King was born with a bordering on obsessive play drive which makes training him a pleasure and a pain at the same time. King also has incredible speed which channeling on an agility course in the right direction can be a real challange but we are still working on it. I believe in his later years we may eventually get this right. King can weave an awesome set of poles when he doesn't feel they are slowing him down. King is also one of if not the fastest flyball dog in South Africa at present. He really excells at Flyball and hast represented the WP team at the Flyball Nationals on a few occasions. He currently holds many of the flyball titles in the WP and has been recorded at running sub 4 second singles times. During 2010 King got his FDX title and became a Flyball Champion he is now also a Grand Champion in Flyball. At the SADAA Regional Trials he obtained the title for Fastest Flyball Dog in SA 2010-2012 (stood down 2013) and has been awarded his Western Province colours for flyball. King is by nature a loner preferring his own company and to play with his toys, although if you take away his toys he is an extremely affectionate laid back lover boy enjoying a cuddle and tummy scratch. The only dog to date that I have seen him play with is Tiah his daughter who he has a soft spot for. King is now getting on in years and from next year we will be taking things easier and possibly finally getting some direction in our agility now that he is eventually maturing.
